Uncertainty
One point I’m thinking through is how we make decisions when we do not have all the facts. The Western side of this question, for me, is Thinking in Bets: make the best decision you can with incomplete information, then separate the quality of the decision from the luck of the outcome.
For the Eastern side, I’m starting with a resource on the Ashtavakra Maha Geeta. I’m interested in what changes when the question is not only “What is the best decision?” but also “What do I see clearly before I decide?” I’ll add the fuller context later.
